Income

Record every transaction from every source. We work with Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal, Shopify, JustGiving, Enthuse, GoFundMe and more, ensuring your income is recorded automatically, alongside any GiftAid. We reconcile this income with the payouts from these providers to ensure your financial data is accurate. Other forms of income, such as grants, can be managed through a pipeline. Income is automatically related to your supporters, programmes, marketing campaigns and restricted or unrestricted funds. Segment your supporters based on their interactions and the programmes they donate to, allowing you to tailor your communications for better acquisition and retention.

Expenditure

Our systems are a single source of truth for your income, so there's no better place to also manage your expenditure. For expenditure on Raising Funds: relate expenditure to specific income streams to make better decisions and maximise fundraising and marketing returns. For expenditure on Charitable Activities: income, expenditure and assets are related to programmes, funds and beneficiary initiatives. The charities we work with have increased their fundraising by directly relating grants and donations with programme spending, ensuring funders know that their donations are well placed.

Because income and expenditure are accounted for in one place, generating departmental budgets and forecasts is seamless and can be presented in realtime in the form of standard management accounts and SoRP-compliant SoFA (Statement of Financial Affairs) reports.

Programmes and Charitable Activities

Our systems, built in the Salesforce ecosystem, can manage activities around your beneficiaries and the delivery of your causes. Deployed systems include project management, case-driven support, inventory management, asset management, trading operations, knowledge, event delivery, application/volunteer management, and more. Record income and expenditure against your charitable activities whilst managing those activities in the same place.

Impact

Too often, a charity’s systems only focus on recording financial data. Instead, give your team, trustees, supporters and beneficiaries realtime feedback on your impact. Record these on a continuous timeline across the organisation, not just at year end! How many hours of support are you providing? How many acres are you saving from deforestation? How many campaigners are you training? How many books are you getting into the hands of children? How many people are engaging with your campaigns? How effectively are partners using disbursed funds? What are the outputs of your research programmes? What is the feedback from your beneficiaries? Relate impact metrics to grants, donations, marketing campaigns, events, programmes and expenditure so you can show funders their direct impact.

You now have all the information required to generate your monthly management accounts and KPIs, as well as your annual report submitted to the Charity Commission - this includes your SoFA as well as statements on your charitable programmes and your impact.
